Dr. Gast is a Professor if health education and promotion withing the department of Kinesiology and Health Science at Utah State University. She is the director of the recently formed online Master of Public Health in Health Education and Promotion at USU. In this role she has taken a deep dive into best practices of instructional design for online education. _x000D_

Her research interest include gender and health, impacts of marriage on health including same sex marriage outcomes, intuitive eating, weigh bias, and service learning.
